We are delighted to announce that two Guild members won first and second prize at the RDS National Crafts Competition in the category of Weaving. Mary Cuthbert won first prize, and Terry Dunne won second prize. You can see some of their work on the Galleries- Members pages of our website.
Since its inception in 1968, the RDS National Crafts Competition continues to encourage and promote the practice of craft in Ireland and is now considered to be a major event in the Irish crafts industry calendar.
The Competition boasts a prize fund in excess of €24,000 over 20 different categories and is one of Europe’s leading independently adjudicated craft competitions.
