The 6th European Wool Day conference took place in the Meadowlands Hotel in Tralee, Co Kerry on Saturday 28th March 2026. It was a resounding success, attracting lots of interest from the public.

The IGWSD had a stand at the venue in the main exhibition hall, as well as an exhibition of work featuring Irish Grown Wool, in a space shared with the Feltmakers Ireland. The exhibition room was a beautiful room, filled with natural light and very peaceful in the midst of all the throngs of people coming and going all day.
