A huge thank you to everyone who came out on Spin in Public Day last Saturday I believe lots of groups around the country had chats, giggles and some fiber related fun throughout the day. You can see some images of the day on our Twitter Feed here.

Greetings! I am a spinner and a weaver too, here in the Midwestern United States. I also did some spinning on Spin In Public Day this past Saturday. I helped out my friend Sue Olsen in her yarny store Sue’s Soft Stuff, who spins, weaves, knits and crochets. I was able to teach children how to card, and talk all about how a spinning wheel works. The adults and children were all fascinated and we all had a very good time!
