Beth Moran has been trading for the last 15 years, and has established an international reputation for her work. Her focus is primarily on colour and pattern, and for the most part each piece is unique. Her range of work runs from very fine silk to home grown, home spun and naturally dyed rugs. The Ballytoughey loom is a small cottage industry producing high quality natural fibre hand woven goods. She has a small outlet at her workshop on Clare Island which is open from April to October and otherwise by appointment offering the visitor an opportunity to see the work in progress and purchase from the small retail facility attached. During the year she offers courses in natural dying, spinning, and hand weaving and caters to small groups and individuals. For contact details and more information, click here.
