So you know the basics of plain weave, now it’s time to advance that on and learn how to push the limits of your little loom.

In this class we will be sampling techniques that can be done on a rigid heddle loom using the Ashford 10″ Sample-it loom. All the looms will be set up and each loom will be used by participants to do a small sample of each technique, moving from loom to loom.
All materials provided.
Techniques to be sampled.
- Colour and Weave (Log Cabin)
- Pick up
- Brooks Bouquet
- Double weave – Double width.
Skill Level ; Participants should be able to warp a rigid heddle loom by the direct method and weave a plain weave item on that warp before attending this workshop. If you are not able to do this at present, we recommend you first take a beginners class, which should be available in the coming months.
